Our Hiring Process

Stage 1

Internal Review

We're excited to see that you're interested in our role at Planable 💚.

Once we've reviewed your application, a member of our team will reach out to you. If you're a potential match, we'll schedule a call to learn more about your skills and experience.

If we don't think that you're a match at this point, we'll let you know as soon as possible through email. Nevertheless, continue keeping an eye on our career page for other future more suitable ones!

A quick tip: Be honest about presenting what your strengths are during your interviews. Presenting yourself authentically throughout will enhance the whole process 💚.
Stage 2

Initial Video Call

We'll schedule a short 30-minute video call with our Recruiter to learn more about your skills and experience. Of course, we'll tell you more about Planable, the team, and the role, to see how we align. At the end, we'll go through some administrative topics as well. Please come prepared with any questions you might have, so we'll make sure that you have all the information you need.

If we don't think you'd be a fit this time around, we'll let you know as soon as possible after the call. This process is a two-way street, so we'd kindly ask you to do the same if you don't think the role's going to be right for you. Transparency is key 💚!
Stage 3

Role-based Assignment

If the Initial Call went well, and we're all aligned, we'll ask you to complete an assignment. Through this we'll have the chance to better understand your skills, but you'll also get to know better the type of tasks that you'd expect for this role. If we're going to work together, we want you to be successful! 💚

Once you'll send the completed assignment over, our team will review it and we will get back to you. Please bear with us, but it should not take longer than 1 week to follow-up. In the meantime, if any questions, please feel free to reach out to your Recruiter.
Stage 4

Onsite Interview

If things are still looking good, we'll invite you to an Onsite Interview. This will be a 1h30min interview, broken down into two parts:
• A technical interview, focused on peer programming.
• An interview focused on process & collaboration.

You'll get to see our awesome office, and meet with your potential future manager & some colleagues from the team. Your recruiter will equip you with all the information needed beforehand, to make sure we're setting you up for success. You'll receive an email with the profile of the people you'll meet, the agenda, and the expectations. If you feel that you need extra details, don't hesitate to reach out to your Recruiter, who'll gladly help 😊.

Generally, we'll be looking to understand more of your experience, how that fits the role, and what makes you tick!

We're a nice bunch, excited to get to know you better! We'll be transparent and honest. Nothing's off the table. Hence, any remaining questions you have, shoot! This whole process is a two-way street - it's as much about you qualifying us, as it is about us qualifying you 💚.
Stage 5

Final Interview

If your previous technical and collaboration interview went well, the next step will be a final chat with our CTO and Principal Engineer. This 30-minute discussion will take place at our office and focus on how your approach aligns with our values. We’re looking not just for hard skills but also for a strong alignment with our company culture and principles 💚.
Stage 6

Offer Stage

Once we're both aligned, we'll come back to you with the offer. Yaaay 💚!

Your Recruiter will set up a time with you to go through all the details. Then you'll get a follow-up email with the formal offer. You'll be able to sign it digitally 🤜🤛.
Stage 7

Hired

Once everything is signed, we're going to kick-off the pre-boarding process, to make sure you'll have a smooth transition.

Welcome to Planable 💚!
